ShareBase Corporation, Los Gatos, CA - Software Systems/Test Engineer (Contract; May through August, 1990).
Testing, troubleshooting and modification of C and assembly language database client source code to provide Microsoft Windows support in mixed LAN environment. Documentation of code changes and application requirements; extensive use of Microsoft development environment including Windows SDK, CodeView debugger, C compiler, Assembler, and related tools.

Tri-Data, Mountain View, CA - Systems Software Engineer (September 1985 through April 1987).
Design, development and support of software for operating system functions, networking, protocol conversion and terminal emulation on a multi-purpose data communications system. Extensive use of data communications test and analysis equipment, both hardware and software. Worked with data communications protocol software supporting IBM (BSC and SNA), Sperry/Univac, Data General, DEC and X.25. Use of both MS-DOS and CP/M microcomputer-based development environments.
